I’m David Galvin, owner of RideProCar in Birmingham, Alabama. This business began during a difficult season for my family.

More than ten years ago, I was laid off from a technology company. With a family of five to care for, I started driving rideshare to bring in income. What began as a practical way to support my family became something I loved. Over eight years and more than 10,000 rides, I learned that a driver can do more than take someone from one address to another. A warm welcome, a comfortable vehicle, a dependable arrival and a little kindness can change how someone remembers their day.

My faith shaped the kind of business I wanted to build: one that serves people well and makes a positive difference in our community. I saw an opportunity to bring that spirit of care to a five-star luxury SUV experience, and RideProCar was born.

We softly launched in 2025, partnering with Limo Anywhere and its marketing team, Fullsteam. After a year of testing the market, listening to passengers and refining our specialty, we brought RideProCar to the broader Birmingham market.

Today, we help couples celebrate with wedding getaway car service, take friends out for a night on the town, provide dedicated rides for sporting events and concerts, and serve corporate travelers heading to the airport or a special event.

Our recently launched mobile app makes it easier to book in advance. Through our team and affiliate partners, passengers can arrange a vetted, professional, licensed driver for the occasions that matter to them.

What sets RideProCar apart is the attention we give to the whole experience. A typical rideshare meets an immediate transportation need. A traditional chauffeur service may feel formal or out of reach.

RideProCar is my lemon-into-lemonade story, built here in Birmingham. As we grow, we have our sights set on Nashville, Tennessee, and Tampa, Florida.
